On My Way Home Poem by George Ahaneku

On My Way Home

When I was born
I suckled the breast
When life was fun
I played with my pets
When evening falls
Sequel to my quest
When old age comes
I would’ve done my best
When the Master scores
I would pass the test
When my eyes close
My soul shall find rest
