On Some Inviolate Shore Poem by Patti Masterman

On Some Inviolate Shore

You won't remember who you were

On some inviolate shore,

Or who your friends and loved ones were-

Before death closed the door.

But if you were the same as now,

Some hope you'll hold begotten,

That love in all its myriad forms

Can not all go forgotten.
