On The Day I Said Hello Poem by Angie M..

On The Day I Said Hello

I then ate the dust
stayed content in the mute,
(eavesdropped when not)
mingled in the presence
accepted the absence

So I waited with you

but awkward (perhaps for both)
the longer it lingered
and the ice started to build
though not in vain
I've learned a lot

so I just need to know
when we should say hello.
