On The Heights - Poem by John Bannister Tabb
On Pisgah each must stand,
And in a fruitful land
Behold with longing eyes
Some promised Paradise
Of bliss denied.
And each on Calvary
Upon his cross must be
Where, Christ-like, two between-
For Life or Death unseen-
The victim dies.
