On The Paris March- January 11,2015

Rating: 3.5

The sky temporizes-
a grayness that supposes
to define a mood,
an amalgamation
of color, emotions,
faces in the crowd,
the singularity of multitude,
the mixing of separateness,
the efforts to unite
in signs, chants, spontaneous
applause, what is,
after all, the reason-
Je suis tous,
tous sont moi-
for revolutions fought,
won and lost,
and for the feelings -
shoulders against strangers',
voices within a voice,
breaths intertwining,
rolling waves of faces
moving gently forward,
Pound's petals emerging
on the boughs of being,
an explosion of life.
