I am on the run again,
Going fast and in sane,
Just running alone and free,
Not sure what I will see.
Someone tell me to stop racing,
Someone tell me to slow my chasing
Someone tell me why?
Someone tell me don't sigh.
The summer sun is glowing hot,
The path before me is not,
Those thoughts seem cold,
I finally stopped running so bold.
A river lay before my view,
The ripples, rippled a few,
It was a beautiful scene,
What I saw and felt was keen.
I stood still, and admired the Place,
Time stood still for a trace,
The water was a taste of the wild side,
The Rippling and rushing water slid by.
I turned around and started to run again,
The day was coming to an end,
As I ran, I thought of the river side
Those ripples traveled like a wild ride.
That creek carved the landscape around me,
Mountains and, valleys decorated every tree,
The beauty of nature is so planned and carefree,
So someone tell me now to break free.
The sun is going down for the day,
I still need to run a way,
This adventure needs to end,
Oh! Here is my final bend.
Good day and good night.
