On These Silent Boulevards Poem by Mohammad Younus

On These Silent Boulevards

On these silent boulevards,
at dawn's gentle break,
He wields the wind's pen
with masterful grace.
Oh, how He paints ripples
on the ocean's vast canvas!
Divine beauty radiates
from all He creates,
and the cheerful song of Alast
hums through a million strokes.

The Song of Alast echoes,
vibrating in the stillness—
an eternal truth, alive and aglow.
The ancient spring still shines,
reminding me
how, from nothingness,
I blossomed like a tulip after winter.
In drowsy spells,
I recall my divine essence
that flows with time,
untouched by the fleeting false.
I carry no burdens of choice;
I soar on the wings of Time,
like a blade of grass,
adrift on the river's surface.
