On Writing - Poem by Edith Oram

What shall I write?
The urge is strong,
The mind speeds along.
Indecision is rife.
Then glimmer in dark,
Synapses spark,
Ideas in my head,
Pen follows the thread.
Falter here,
Alter there,
Poem complete.
