We were an army of ants
But one by one
They dropped

Stopped caring
Stopped daring
Suffocated by those sexing them?

Forever we swore
Not knowing it would end tomorrow
Together we walked
Not knowing we would fall apart

Conjoined at all times
Till the she within you came
Now you’re trapped
And I’m alone

I die a slow death
And get swallowed by the earth
As you suffocate, afraid
To live again.
