Once I Was Someone Poem by Shalom Freedman

Once I Was Someone

ONCE I WAS SOMEONE

Once I was someone
Now I am no one
I will probably never be anyone again

Being someone was not so great
But being no one is worse

Maybe though
In a few hundred years
I'll get used to it

‘A no one and proud to be a no one forever'
