Once Was A Love Poem by Jorge Vespucci

Once Was A Love

On the second of November I met this precious woman
Long was her hair dark and majestic as if a crown were upon her head
Much did I see that my heart fell to thee, luscious her velvety eyes and
Plump like a peach were her marvelous lips

My oh my, a woman like no other, a body so slender and I knew my head spun
I talked to this stranger, soon we came to be friends, the time we spent meant the entirety of this marvelous world, months passed as our love turned to steel I thought it would last a whole lifetime but one fateful day jeopardized this loving bond, she told me the reasons so and so, heartbroken was I, a sunken feeling, weeks are now gone and this truest of love still lives on, a space in my heart meant for two.
