Once You Go Poem by Marilyn White

Once You Go

You’ll never be able to come back to me
I guess your word is not
As good as I thought
That is was so now how do you feel
Knowing that you let it slip it away
Do I have to tell once more
All the things that you did
And never will get to do
How sweet it was of you
To act like you cared after all this
I make you into something else
That you are not a painted picture
Of pretty little lies and never ending
One right after the other where you are
I don’t want to cry for you that
Will not bring you back to me
But maybe something else will
Maybe they will care if I go
Like you never did what else is there to show
An ill faded out face
