One Poem by MICHAEL VILANOVA

One

What can I do I'm only one?
Here i stand all by myself alone
Am i suppose to use my voice
Truely would that be the right choice
Can i use my hands or maybe my feet
As i stand here alone ii feel such defeat
Now these are the only tools I truly do own
I ve got no money even now that im grown
Does change ever start with one boy or girl
Or does it take masses and money to change this world
Is my ideals for change any less then your forefathers
Motto is to remember im aslo someones
son or daughter
Oppressed and signaled out how do i reach the masses
Not knowing if anyone is watching thru thier stained glasses
Longing to live like them but here i stand alone
Yes i have my desires and so does everyone
One standing alone how can i change this world
Not knowing if there is other standing alone one boy one girl
Each having a voice but to scared so they stand alone idle upon their hands and feet
