One Coin Each Poem by Brown mbadiwe

One Coin Each

One coin each! One coin each!
Come and buy my talking peach!
'Does it talk? ' 'Not every day...'
'Then why buy it? ' 'Walk away! '

One coin each! One coin each!
Come and buy my dancing fish!
The fish stood still and scratched its head,
'I only dance... when I'm in bed! '

One coin each! One coin each!
Come and buy giraffe's new shoes!
He tried them on with all four feet...
'They're lovely—but they're missing two! '

One coin each! One coin each!
Who bought what? We cannot tell!
Everyone laughed all the way home...
Except the goat—he bought the bell!
