One Day, I'll Board Poem by Mohammad Younus

One Day, I'll Board

One day, I'll board
the next passenger train,
Heeding whispers soft as dawnlight,
I'll glide toward the Sea of Tranquility.

Leaving my restless mind behind,
I'll drink deep of love's eternal peace,
Drawing heavenly breaths
at each luminous stop,
Journeying forward to rediscover
A pure, eternal abode.

The great clock will joyfully chime,
Marking the hour of departure.
I'll forsake the world's fleeting charms
And its ephemeral lures.

One day, I'll embark on a sacred journey,
Wandering the streets of my life anew.
I'll not vanish into extinction's abyss,
For divine wisdom will guide me,
Sheltered beneath the vast umbrella of grace.

One day, I'll forget these infernal seasons
And their artifacts cloaked as paradise.
O my true essence, keeper of sacred dreams,
Guard my eternal path.

Extinguishing the drowsy candle,
My soul's luggage light and ready,
I'll leave my home spotless, welcoming,
With a kiss upon my Beloved Lord,
I'll depart, eyes fixed ahead,
My heart unburdened, free from regret.
