'One Day To God' Poem by John Tatum

'One Day To God'

Rating: 4.5

One day to God is like a thousand years,
So, God created the Earth and the Universe.
Genesis is a bit like a poem...somewhat figurative,
Hard boiled eggs that won't yield, can't give.
They stubbornly insist on Big Bang and evolution,
Our God did not say there was only one solution.
Yet, to get a man and a woman from a Big Bang,
Requires more faith than to believe in Creation.
Anyway, we should celebrate creation in a creative way,
Dance around, skip and jump and shout, 'Hooray! '
I was created by a very creative God,
Give Him the glory give Him the respectful nod.
And by His side was the Alpha and Omega,
The lion will come again...in the end,
So, put your faith in the creative God and win!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Many cannot see creation because of disbelief...the really deep concepts of life can only be seen through the eyes of faith, and faith is a gift from God to those who seek Him.
