One day you will look for the stars in the sky
You instead will see darkness with sadness and a sigh,
At the heavens above you won't be able to stare
Then one day you won't be able to breathe the air.
One day you won't be able to swim in the rivers or lakes
Or in the oceans without getting sick or pains or aches,
Then the waters will become increasingly hotter
Then one day you won't be able to drink tap water.
One day earths belly will be barren and desolate
Life no more will she or can she compensate,
Her oil and her coals was violently take from her belly
As if starving children where inside a deli.
Once in the sky we were able to count the stars
But, now all we can count is the planes and the cars,
Once in our lungs we could take in a clean breath
Now, every time we breath it's closer to our death.
Once we could swim in the waters and dine on the fish
Now that is just a forgotten memory, and a wish,
God gave us a world with his faith and trust
Pretty soon, God's going to fire everyone of us.
