One Is Seven Poem by Darlan M Cunha

One Is Seven

*
The imaginary invented
that the cat has seven corners,
but the neighbor has one, says
between solemn and anarchist,
that the only one is enough for him -
sometimes too dubious.

***

O imaginário inventou
que o gato tem sete esquinas,
o vizinho tem uma, diz
entre solene e anarquista,
que a única lhe basta -
às vezes, dúbia demais.
