One Life Poem by RAJI C.N.

One Life

ONELIFE

Happiness and fulfillment
Struggle to converge
As mind frames change colour
Clinging on to echoes of the past..

Life leaps with death and rebirth
Of thoughts and intentions,
Of memories and experiences
Flashing inward for an unseen fortitude

And looking back
Life in a circle, like perennial plants
Withering and blossoming
On salvation and rebirth

An inevitable transformation
The longing and yearning
And rising from the ashes
Like a phoenix

Lost in a whirlpool
Of repentance and regrets
Living the life of a mortal ascetic
And a mere human being

The past and present pitch in
To undo and change the self
To light up the shadows
To flow on and start all over again!

Lost in a whirlpool Of repentance and regrets Living the life of a mortal ascetic And a mere human being.....oh this is a very good poem..... philosophical and theological in Hindu beliefs of rebirth, Karma.............. we are mortal ascentics thinking of our past and being penitential and still looking forward for a new life....... very fine poem.
