One Mans Heaven Is Another Mans Hell - Poem by Cassie Picariello
A bat soars through the night,
Graceful as a swan,
And though the stars glimmer and shine,
A darkness falls apon us;
As she screams in silence,
Shattering her dreams and ambitions,
Creating her own self destruction,
I stand on a street corner,
Forlorn and lonely,
Waiting and cowering in the cold air;
A prostitue, a whore,
I live a life of shame;
The chronic beeping,
The sreams, the sirens.
My heart bleeds for those in the depths of hell,
The innocent souls of the dead.
Integrity stolen by false knights in shining armour...
Doctor, doctor, will she make it?
