One More Loss Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

One More Loss

One more loss

Like that night, my efforts to catch worm
The couple having sex with two hands
So I could, have them both.

Mostly lost; and lost now.

Right hand held vacuum; left hand aimed for bucket
All was set, I should have the cockroach
The tough guest is imposed,
I have not invited.

One, two, three…
I counted, started…

It was fast, saw it go
Same did worms.

What am I?
Piece of shit…
