Seeing you one more time
was like adding breath
to my failing lungs in your absence.
Your presence dignified by a
quiet magnificent glow,
and so my heart your heart
ever longs to know.

Forgive my dumbness of speech
hence the poem,
for words fails my sweet lips
but not the pen.
