One Of The Last Goodbyes Poem by A Waltz For Zizi

One Of The Last Goodbyes

It's time to let the snow behind
and say goodbye for the last time
like a man in the immense white of the snow
like a kiss, wondering what's he doing on those red lips
trying to remember her name, the name of the one
that's dragging him into a room with a bed and other useless things
secretly hoping that he hit his head and forgot
that she is his wife, because otherwise it would mean
he's cheating someone else, someone that's in love with him.
That's why I say goodbye, because I think
there's somewhere, someone in love with me
someone whom I forgot to name in my poems.
