One Way Ticket Poem by Anahit Arustamyan

One Way Ticket

ONE WAY TICKET

You have me as a blinking star lost in distances.
I have you as a peaceful sea.
Your blue eyes hold the sky open to me.
A chair in a plane appears in my mirages.
How long have I been crying and waiting for it?
If I was tiny I would sit on a bird's wing.
I wish one way ticket soaked in the air's breeze.
The world is intoxicated with sins.
We are innocent poets in the seas of ink.
We are also whispers in cyber messages.
My parents are not with me.
God called them to Him.
Take care of yourself as I have only you in my days' flowing streams.
I wish one way ticket to your eyes' blue silk.
If I was tiny I would sit even on a bird's beak.
