Oneiric Visions By Om Prakash Bhatnagar Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Oneiric Visions By Om Prakash Bhatnagar

As a collection of poems,
It is inclusive of the poems,
A Poem is a Smile, Of Death and Life,
Reality Born of Romance, The Last Supper, Ulysses,
Man is Lived, I Can Question Only My Dreams,
What is the Difference, A Framed Sand Dune,
If One Starts Asking Questions Like Hamlet,
On The Cross-Road, Who is Afraid of Fear and so on
Tell of how he has taken to poetry
In an age of anxiety, loss and bewilderment
Surviving pain and trauma,
How he has struggled and suffered in life personally
Choosing Hamlet, Quixote and Picasso to represent it.

Poems to him are oneiric visions, smiles,
Similes and metaphors,
Fossil feelings,
Sand dunes forming and deciphering,
His poems like Shaw's discussion dramas,
Synge's Riders to the Sea
And Beckett's Waiting for Godot.
