One-Sided Love Poem by Ray C.

One-Sided Love

Rating: 5.0

I really like you.
I remember you're friend saying that
your favorite color is black.
After that day,
my favorite color became black too.
I remember you're friend saying that
your favorite animal is cat.
After that day,
my favorite animal became cat.
Now, I am thinking why
I erase myself and copied you.
I learned that love is not copying
or not trying to find something same,
but trying to understand each other
and accepting how they are, even that part is not perfect.
I know that, and I am trying to accept myself.
I don't regret that I liked you.
I am just thank you that
I learned more about love.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Even I love that person, that person could hate me. Life is about that. We have to learn accepting others, and ourself. Thank you for reading my poem.
