I will never be the same
You appealed to my emptiness
When everything else was gone

There will be no other like you
You're an angel and all I need
Your words made me so alive

I honored the time we had
Thinking of each moment constantly
Trying to revive my broken heart

Confused and only darkness holds
That part I set aside for you
Why is it that we can't be

There's no secret that I love you
It's evident that I'm nothing now
I'm moving in and out of my mind

Knowing not where to land
I understand what love is
Only to be with you
