Only Mine Poem by Samuel Anyaogu

Only Mine

On the seas of imagination
I set sail
And the golden rays of sunrise
Still shine in hope

As a sailor
I guide my mind
Through storms to come
And I steer with wisdom

When I cry
The silence comforts me
I laugh
And the world applauds

The tides still change
And dawn will age
My life is my shadow
Like the sunset on the sea

The world is 7 billion
But I feel alone
The night is lonely
And the echoes are only mine
