We first started as friends.
And thats how we wanted to go
Just nothing else
we stayed like this for months
but you didnt know it was killing me inside.

If again you knew
How much times I cared for you
And only to wish that i could tell
But then i thought we were only friends.

I know we were more then friends
But you seemed like it was just a friendship
We knew it wasnt going to die
but how can you think
That we can only be friends

My heart sinks for you
But you dont know that now do you?
I shouldnt blame you for not loving me
But I shall blame myself for not speakng

I know we promised to tell each other everything
But how could I?
It killed me inside
I knew you wouldn't understand but you were my friend
But just only my friend

But then came one day we had the same class
and my heart was aching to tell you
then you looked at me and asked what was wrong with me
I had to say nothing.

Then we came to the bus
and you still wanted to know
I said, 'I'll call you and tell you.'
and then I fell my heart dying
and I wanted to die in front of you
But no you're only a friend

As you picked up the phone
When I called you
You asked me a question I would never forget
You asked if we could be more...
Then just only a friend.
