Pure surrender of selfhood
is one essential preliminary
for the spiritual life.
Only the thoroughly detached is free.
The unitive state is essentially
a state of free and filial
participation in Eternal life.
Pure surrender of self-hood before God is one essential preliminary duty in spiritual life and we completely agree in this aspect. Essentially we need to unite with God to catch his communicative vibrations of eternal life. We perceive his mercy of light.
