Only Three Poem by Natalie Collins

Only Three

only three years old
when I saw her fall
scared and crying
standing on the couch
Grandpa pushing on her chest
Dad on the phone
lights and sirens
lots of men running in
Mom coming to take me home

then Dad called
Grandma died
