The first time I saw her
It was her eyes I fell for
As we talked more I fell for her even harder
The guy she was with made mistakes
She forgave him and he did them again
Always ther to help her I sat in the shadows
Sitting...Waiting for her to realize
Now they are over and I still sit here
Depressing thoughts filled my head to think we would never be
Now I stand beside her not to be with her
But as a friend to help her through the times she needs it
No matter what I will be there for her
But maybe someday I can be hers
Only time can tell
