Onward- Poem by Anthony Domine

Onward-

There are days that I wonder..
Days that I think-
What drives us onward.
Testing the mind for long weeks..

What gives us strength,
To carry on steady.
Be it courage or willpower-
Perhaps we're just crazy..

Be it purpose we seek,
Maybe a grand goal?
One we hope to fulfill,
Without forfeit of soul.

Be it heart or mind,
Only you can decide.
what is it that drives you,
And refuses to die.

There be not one answer,
That satisfies all.
Seek your own truth,
Til final curtain call..
