Opaque But Real Poem by RIC BASTASA

Opaque But Real

as opaque as a dream
the white shell of an egg
against the light
of the flickering oil lamp

a circle within a circle
substance within substance
content upon content

sure reality concealed
behind a mountain
where a thick fog still hangs
