Here I go again,
back down the same old road,
and once again I'm carrying,
the same old load.
I said I was over you,
but we know that's a lie,
my love you know I can't,
tell you 'goodbye'.
Try as I might,
there's a place in my heart,
that's empty whenever,
you and I are apart.
I think about all this,
while listening to our song,
and I know deep down inside,
these feelings are wrong.
I know how you feel,
my love, I feel the same,
but I can't keep living,
inside your game.
I truly do,
want to run,
and finally say,
that I am done.
But I did that before,
and I'm back at the start,
offering you,
my open heart.
