Open Letter And Poem To Taylor Swift - Poem by Frank Ammerlaan

Dear Taylor,

Your cunning-sweet-sassyness and attention for us
that's what I like and appreciate about you
You're funny, friendly and famously filantropous
and you don't think more of it all, than you have to

Your performance has developed and grown
your concerts became more powerful and mature
But it's all 'bout smart lyrics and the voice you own
We'll always come and listen to those, I'm sure

Your family will always be there
your mom helped you build your brand
Maybe you can write a new song for her
as I'm sure you will for your new boyfriend

Oh please happily find time to discover a new love.
Let him be your cute, tall, lively little turtle dove.
4give me 4saying but don't just throw away
in anger your phone, make him 'stay-stay-stay': ')

You're really living your American dream
Not alone but together with a beautiful team
Carefull! Some stars before you made a high fall
May the night sky always help you to stand tall

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Why I wrote this?
I am a great fan of her music. Sometimes It feels like I know her (which I totally dont) . And she seems nice, she has the reputation of helping others.

Thought it would be nice to address some of these things.
Give some support from a very long distace away.
So, why not write her a poemlike open letter.

She encouraged me to go through with publishing my poetry. After all, if a 15-year-old girl is brave enough to publish songs about her heartbreak, I should be brave enough to publish some of my writings.

I published an earlier version of this 'open letter' on opnlttr.com, where so far it was read over 3000 times. Also I know it was reblogged by someone on tumblr.: -)

As always, let me know what you think of it!
Frank
