Open Mind Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Open Mind

A mind that's open, like a door,
Lets wisdom in, and asks for more.
To see the world with gentle eyes,
And listen well to different cries.

Then patience, like a steady hand,
Helps us to truly understand.
It's hard to keep, I must confess,
But helps us through life's sweet duress.

The winding road, it twists and turns,
But lessons learned, the spirit earns.
Though speed I lacked, and often strayed,
My path ahead is still unswayed.
