Open My Eyes Poem by David Blake

Open My Eyes

Midnight dancers, lovers and
dreamers living and dying yet
never known. The world of
vision and truth lost beneath the
table. Lives lived in shadows
empty and vague. All alone at the
end of the day in the field of
golden fire, beneath the crystal
blue sky, bowing their heads,
they wonder why.
