Open Your Eyes Poem by jeanne harmon

Open Your Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Diamonds never seem to last
It all happens so very fast
Nothing ever stays the same
And when we think of all the things we didn’t do we have ourselves to blame
So I’ll take your hand
And tell you these words
Just open your eyes
And then you’ll realize:
This is a world of many people
But we’ll all the same
Though the clouds may get gray
And you’ll close eyes and wish it would all go away
Life will still be waiting for you
Take every chance you get
Dance in the halls
Bounce off the walls
So just stop thinking about tomorrow and just dance all day
