Openshaw The Ripper Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Openshaw The Ripper

It was openshaw who gave the orders
For he lacked cadavers for autopsies
The killers were the abattoir workers
And those who laboured in the catteries

Steal the body parts then cut them bad
To make it look like the perp was psycho
City bobbies were in on the act lad
Seems like everyone was in the know

The victims were stalked from the workhouse roles
For nobody will miss a prostitute
Anyway they were all just low life proles
Selected because they were destitute

Too many surgeons and not enough flesh
So make sure the organs are nice and fresh
