Opportune Endings Poem by Newo Enec

Opportune Endings

Isn't it just peachy, so conventional
That you would raise my hopes up
Only to smash them again upon my intense
Fear of rejection
Don't lie to me, trying to tell me
That the way you ravage my sanity is purely an accident
You want to lead me on and blow me off
You want to hurt me, maybe even more
Than I'd like to hurt myself sometimes

But the ending's the same, never releasing
What once included everything
I had ever wanted
Can't complain, only look at
The oppurtunity before me
That I will surely miss again
