Or Not Poem by Gil Mahaney

Or Not

Hate me not because
You're beautiful
and that ain't enough
hate me because I
will always
choose love
I'll rise up so you can lay me low trade you
a thousand smiles
for just one
I told you so
Only one of us
need be innocent
for both of us
to feel free
let this touch be everlasting
trembling running
ever deep forever
ours to keep
drink the milk
spill the seed
no matter how
fast we run
we still bleed
