Ordinary Sights Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Ordinary Sights

the woman in blue
picks through the stringbeans -
no thing wasted

Sunday light
on red brick bungalows -
sacred land

harried waitress
trembling lip -
shrewish diner

soiled napkins
chipped china plates -
mother's best
