Origin Poem by Nya Tsang

Origin

You were small when you first came
An abandoned
sad
lonely little baby
One who had no smile

So I gave you my eyes
and you could see in the dark
Then I gave you my legs
and you could run faster than anyone

I gave you my knowledge
To differ between right and wrong
I gave you my heart
To experience feelings so strong

I gave you the sun
to shine bright and shine brave
And I gave you the sky
To see the world for what it really
is

And when I was done
You stood up
Towering over
And left
behind
little
ol
insignificant
me
.
