Origin Of Worshipping Poem by Muzahidul Reza

Origin Of Worshipping

Rating: 5.0

They see natural powers
Miraculous vigors
Exceptional creations, figures
Most extraordinary doers;

Given or blessed by whom?
They do not think
They do not seek meanings
Most often think some naughty children;

From such craziness
Cursed ignorance
And deep darkness
They imagine and personalize those;

Then as gods and goddesses they take them
Call them
Talk to them
And worship them;

Afterwards, they draw, paint them
Form idols of them
Curve on wood, stone to idolize
And lifelong they run these;

Their descendants come
Follow the antecedent
Without little bit thinking
Just on the base of forefathers did.
