Original Sin Poem by Binu Mathew

Original Sin

Rating: 5.0

In unison, all pledged,
Evil in the neighbourhood,
Be eliminated, while,
Neighbours echoed the same!
It's hatred, not disobedience,
The original sin,
That took Abel's life!
Dagger cuts but dialogue heals!

The original sin has, all but, become commonplace now. Every other person asks you, "am I my brother's keeper? ". That "dialogue heals" is just a baseless hope…

I believe that reluctance to engage in dialogue or meet at the negotiation table is the reason for all unresolved problems.
