Orphans Of Wisdom And Life Poem by Ayni Poet

Orphans Of Wisdom And Life

Nomads in the desert's heart,
Racing their camels for their families to survive,
Living for the next cup of water and trip,
Dying for an escape from the dry, hostile land.

Every day they spin the roulettes of time,
And dig for precious metals in the sand,
But all they find is more sand,
Extreme heat and deep torment.

Nothing could change for these poor men,
The Truth is always in the dark for them,
Fearing to open the windows to the universal Tao,
Remain orphans of wisdom and Life,
Trapped in the relative world!
