Other's Goodbyes Poem by Dana Korneisel

Other's Goodbyes

They're saying goodbye
It brings tears to plain eyes
The way she looks at him

She holds him so close
Their lips touch and I know
The way she looks at him

He's standing right here
In my memory's mirror
But I can't be with him

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
On observing a couple's temporary goodbye, I was reminded of loneliness.
