Other Side - Poem by Doris Zoric

I ended my earth journey and now I'm walking through the valley of emptiness. Who am I? Just a dead man seeking for sanctuary where I will spend eternity. Someone put me up to do this. It's not my free will to sense fear and pray for help. Perhaps it's just anonymous power called God, trying to create nation of fools with their saint guardians and crucifix. You will never make me one of your soldiers!
Suddenly, I stopped. I'm lost in the dilemma between two realities, both hidden behind the doors in front of me. There's no third option. Maybe this is what they call „heaven“ and „hell“. Left or right? I didn't know we're ought to choose. I must make a decision to reach my fictive goal and tie internal monster which forces me to sin.
