Otiose Poem by David Olughu

Otiose

Lads and lasses,
like the sun and moon.
Diverse in existence,
yet similar in intent.

One decides to escape with cover of rain
The other hides behind the glow of the stars.
Their rays, so weak
they they don't even make it to the ground.
Lads and lasses are no longer purpose bound.
